How to use twitter for affiliate marketing?

Well I am not too active in twitter nor I have a good number of followers.So How can I promote my affiliate products in twitter? Have some ideas? Please share.

If you have limited followers or having a hard getting any in twitter, you could always apply the basic in affiliate marketing - direct contacts. Since twitter is not limited to "just post update and let your followers decide to click the bait", you could also use the mention and the direct message feature in twitter to directly contact your potential market.
